[Vanguard is an evangelical church in Colorado Springs. .. It holds that "living in homosexuality" is a sin but not The sin. .. Of course, many Christians understand Scripture differently.]
[The panelists and support staff got to arrive an hour early.]
Dara - I feel SO relaxed! :)
Kay, Rebekah & Ryan.
Vanguard's Pastor Kelly and the panelists (except guy sitting in middle; and my seat is empty).
Three panelists are gay and three are "ex-gay." .. If they don't self-reveal, you'd never know!
[The empty seat is for Bill (taking the photo); Wes in middle now.]
Oh, terrific - people are coming!
The large auditorium was ultimately pretty full - about 900 according to the Gazette.
Pastor Kelly's welcome.
At left, Jayson first.
Then Dara. ... We all felt we were one six-person team, not two opposing teams!
Wes - speaking without notes.
[No shot of Dave speaking.] ... Bill now.
Jeff last. ... The panelists were followed by about a half-hour of Q&A from the floor.
This and the next two shots were taken by a friend of Dara's. .. Wes, Dara and Bill
L-R: Ryan, Wes, Bill, Dara, Rebekah and Kay.
Over now ... after a long time of chatting with folks who came up to the stage. .. Gazette coverage:

Ryan and proud Mom.
We don't know if many minds were changed, but undoubtedly many hearts were opened!
OK, April 26th and now back at Vanguard for the follow-up Dialogs of Courage.
New facilitators are Cara left and Sophie right.
Yeah, a lot of planning went into this sucker - and a lot of dreaming too, thanks to Rebekah!
We had close to 50 participants, plus the eight facilitators from Dialogs, one at each table.
We know who won the reddest hair contest! :)
What we felt in common with Amanda's story: "Ordinary Love" ...
