OK - Wed morning, Feb 3rd, and our CMC (Colorado Mtn Club) trip begins in Golden, CO.
Including the two leaders, we number 53.
We made it to Jackson, WY. about 7:30 pm.
The big square in town. .. Right - the arch in each corner is made from elk antlers.
Thursday - Departing our motel after breakfast, about 8:00 am.
At the Visitors Center on the north side of Jackson.
Outside Jackson, loading up the sleighs for our ride through the Elk Preserve.
Most, though not all, the elk here are bulls. .. The girls were off together much farther away.
This dude is the foreground is not likely to attract many mates with those antlers.

Passing under the Tetons now, but you'll have to take my word for it. :(
OK - a little past noon and we're at the Flagg Ranch, just below the south entrance to Yellowstone.
Time to relocate our luggage and ourselves to the snow coaches, as the roads in Yellowstone are not cleared in winter.
Enroute - we'll stop 3-4 times for various sites.
