Arriving shortly past 6:00 am, with lots of parking spaces at the trailhead, in spite of the many folks already on the Incline. :)
On the trail and about time for sunrise.
Still somewhat hazy from big fires from the far west.
A new day for our Present Moment.
Time to shed some clothes on our very mild weather day.

Where the Barr Trail touches The Incline.
Still a ways to go for the step-folks.
Our first view of Pikes Peak - way in the distance.

Telephoto - vaguely note the snowfield below the summit, readily seen from town.
7:50 - a left turn here - making progress.
A long section now without much gain to Barr Camp.
Running into a fellow parishioner from Grace, on his way down from Barr Camp.
As seen from a big rock pile next to the trail.
Telephoto. .. Our route above treeline will have us initially on the right side of the broad gully here, then a long traverse to the left side, and on up to the summit, passing the snowfield on the right.
I'm atop the rock pile.
Another half-mile to Barr Camp.
9:45 - roughly half-way done and on schedule. .. We'll be here for a half-hour.
