Although the main course is prepared in advance by many wonderful St Mike's cooks, there's still work to be done in Sacred Heart kitchen. Diane Verlinde (center, purple) was heroically in charge of this month's fabulous Christmas dinner.
Figure this: they must be expert pie-makers by now. :)

OK - production is underway. Main course was a special ham, broccoli, rice, cheese and sour cream concoction - with plenty of ham and love.
Also cornbread, fresh garden salad and tangerine to round out a plate.
We had a really large support contingent - including many youth who carried the food to our guests.

Pumpkin pie was a rare special treat, instead of the usual tasty cupcakes.

We started a little slow - but ended up with pretty much a full house.
We always have a high demand for take-out for friends who couldn't make it, and we bring plenty of plastic containers to meet the need.
